STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY

These IFT Standard Limited Warranty Policy (“Policy”) apply to eligible buyers of IFT Products.
BY PURCHASING, ACTIVATING, OR USING AN IFT PRODUCT, YOU AGREE TO THIS
POLICY.

DEFINTIONS

For purposes of these Policies:

 

1. “IFT” means Inspired Flight Technologies, Inc.
2. “
IFT Product” means an aircraft, component, accessory, or other product sold by IFT or
an IFT Authorized Reseller to a Buyer.
3. “
Buyer” means the final purchaser and operator of the IFT Product for its own use and
not for resale.
4. “
IFT Authorized Reseller” means a reseller expressly authorized by IFT to sell IFT
Products to Buyer.
5. “
Delivery Date” means the date the carrier shows delivered to the Buyer’s designated
shipping address.
6. “
RMA” means Return Material Authorization issued by IFT for return or repair
processing.
7. “
Payload” means any equipment carried by, attached to, or integrated with an aircraft
that is not necessary for basic flight, including sensors, cameras, LiDAR, gimbals,
mounting hardware, onboard compute, radios, cabling, storage media, and accessories.
8. “
OEM Warranty Program” means the warranty and service program offered by the
original manufacturer of a third-party product, including a third-party payload.
9. “
Aircraft” means the aircraft unit and, where expressly stated in the applicable program
documentation, the paired GCS/controller sold with that aircraft.
10. “
Certified Refurbished Unit” or “CRU” means a unit sold under IFT’s then-current
CRU policy.
11. “
Official Published Materials” means IFT’s version-controlled user manuals, safety
guidelines, and specifications published by IFT through its official channels.

PART I - LIMITED WARRANTY

1. APPLICABILITY

 

These Policies apply only to Buyers who purchase directly from IFT or an IFT Authorized Reseller. Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original Buyer and only for Products purchased from IFT or an IFT Authorized Reseller, unless IFT consents in a signed writing.

 

2. WHAT IS COVERED

 

Subject to these Policies, IFT warrants that each new IFT-branded aircraft and IFT-branded part will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, proper maintenance, and only when operated, maintained, and updated in strict accordance with IFT’s Official Published Materials and IFT-approved firmware/software baselines. Support communications, including emails, chats, phone guidance, in-app messages, and service communications, are provided for informational purposes only and do not modify these Policies or create additional warranties unless IFT expressly amends these Policies in a written document signed by an authorized IFT officer.

3. WARRANTY PERIODS

a) New IFT-branded aircraft and IFT-branded parts: Twelve (12) months from Delivery
Date, unless otherwise stated in writing.
b)
CRUs: Six (6) months from Delivery Date for the covered Aircraft only, as defined in the
CRU policy.
c)
Replacement parts provided during warranty repair: The greater of (a) the remaining
warranty period, or (b) ninety (90) days after delivery of the repaired or replaced part.
d)
Third-party products and payloads: Covered only by the applicable OEM Warranty
Program, if any. IFT does not provide an independent warranty for third-party payloads
beyond what is required by law.
e)
Batteries: Covered only under IFT’s separate battery warranty terms, if any. Batteries
are excluded from CRU sales and must be purchased separately as new products.
Warranty claims must be initiated during the applicable

Warranty claims must be initiated during the applicable warranty period and within 30 days of discovery, supported by required documentation.

4. HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

If the IFT Product does not function as warranted during the applicable warranty period, contact IFT via telephone, website, app, or other published support channels. Buyer must provide, upon request and as a condition precedent to coverage: complete flight logs/telemetry, maintenance records, configuration/firmware versions, photos/videos, and incident reports, and must not alter the Product prior to IFT’s inspection.

 

 

5. EXCLUSIVE REMEDY

IFT’s sole and exclusive obligation, and Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy, is, at IFT’s option, repair or replacement with new, used, or refurbished parts or products of equal or better functionality. Refunds are available only where required by law or if expressly approved in a signed writing by an authorized IFT officer.

All replaced Products/parts become IFT’s property; Buyer assigns all right, title, and interest to such items upon replacement.

 

6. SHIPPING

Buyer bears risk of loss and insurance responsibility for inbound shipments unless IFT provides a prepaid label and is the shipper of record; Buyer must package to commercial standards. IFT may assess evaluation/handling and return shipping charges for No Trouble Found or excluded claims.

If shipping batteries, Buyer must comply with applicable Dangerous Goods requirements and use certified shippers; damaged lithium batteries must not be shipped.


7. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

 

7.1 Scope of Exclusions

 

This warranty applies only to defects arising under normal use and operation of the Product in strict accordance with IFT’s Official Published Materials, specifications, and approved procedures. Except as expressly required by applicable law, this warranty does not cover any loss, damage, defect, or condition resulting from causes other than normal and intended use.

7.2 Excluded Causes and Conditions

 

Without limitation, the following are excluded from warranty coverage, to the maximum extent permitted by law:


● Any crash, hard landing, collision, tip-over, loss of control, flyaway, fire, water exposure,
or other peril or damage originating from outside the Product, regardless of cause.
● Misuse, abuse, improper handling or storage, improper installation, operation outside
published limits, operation in adverse weather or interference environments, lack of or
improper maintenance, or use with low, defective, damaged, or leaking batteries.
● Damage occurring during transportation or shipping not attributable to IFT.
● Loss or corruption of data of any kind.
● Cosmetic wear or cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality or safe operation,
including expected shop wear on CRUs. Cosmetic condition alone does not constitute a
warranty claim.

7.3 Unauthorized Changes and Non-Approved Items

 

Warranty coverage is void, to the maximum extent permitted by law, if the Product is altered from IFT-approved configurations or used with non-approved items, including but not limited to:


● Unauthorized modification, disassembly, shell opening, adjustment of parameters, or
repair performed by Buyer or any unauthorized third party.
● Removal, tampering with, or modification of sealed components, including motors or
electronic components, without IFT’s prior written approval.
● Use of any software, firmware, parts, accessories, or products other than IFT-provided or
IFT-approved software, parts, and products that connect to, integrate with, or affect the
Product’s function or performance.

7.4 Identification and Eligibility

 

This warranty does not apply to:
 

● Products with altered, removed, defaced, or unreadable serial numbers, identification
labels, or tracking markers.
● Any non-aircraft items or excluded components identified in the applicable program,
product, or warranty documentation.

7.5 Batteries

 

Batteries are expressly excluded from this warranty and are covered, if at all, solely under IFT’s separate battery warranty terms. Batteries are not included with Certified Refurbished Unit (CRU) sales and must be purchased separately as new products.

8. THIRD-PARTY GOODS AND PAYLOADS

Buyer bears risk of loss and insurance responsibility for inbound shipments unless IFT provides a prepaid label and is the shipper of record; Buyer must package to commercial standards. IFT may assess evaluation/handling and return shipping charges for No Trouble Found or excluded claims. If shipping batteries, Buyer must comply with applicable Dangerous Goods requirements and use certified shippers; damaged lithium batteries must not be shipped.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law:


● IFT shall not be responsible or liable for loss of or damage to any payload, sensor, gimbal, or other third‐party equipment arising from or related to any crash, incident, or operation of the aircraft.
● IFT shall not be responsible or liable for loss of or damage to any property other than the covered IFT Product itself, including payloads, batteries, accessories, computers, radios, peripherals, or other equipment.
● Goods manufactured by third parties, including payloads, are excluded from IFT’s standard warranty except as expressly required by applicable law; any such warranty is limited to the applicable OEM warranty program.

 

Nothing in this section shall be construed to disclaim, exclude, or limit liability to the extent such liability cannot be disclaimed or limited under applicable law.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:


● IFT shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, punitive, incidental, special,
exemplary, or enhanced damages, including without limitation loss of use, data, profits,
goodwill, business interruption, or procurement of substitute goods; and
● Total liability is limited to the amounts paid for the specific IFT Product giving rise to the
claim, in the aggregate.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES


Except as expressly provided in this Limited Warranty, IFT disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and warranties arising from usage or course of dealing, to the maximum extent permitted by law. No oral or written information, advice, quotations, marketing, or support communications create any warranty or modify these Policies unless expressly set forth in a signed writing by an authorized IFT officer.

11. FRAUD AND ABUSE

 

IFT may deny coverage and terminate warranty eligibility for any Product and/or account in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, tampered or falsified logs, or abuse of the warranty process.

12. END OF SUPPORT

 

IFT may designate Products or components as End‐of‐Support. For such items, IFT may, at its option, offer functionally equivalent service or components, or decline service and offer a pro‐rated refund or trade‐in value.

PART II - GENERAL WARRANTY SERVICE TERMS

1. RELATIONSHIP TO SALES TERMS, CRU POLICY, AND INSPIRED CARE

 

The sale of Products is governed by IFT Terms and Conditions. If the buyer purchases a CRU the CRU policy modifies these Policies only for that CRU transaction. If the buyer purchases an Inspired Care plan, Inspired Care modifies these Policies only for the covered aircraft and only during the active plan term.

 

2. PRE-SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

 

Before obtaining service, buyer must:


1. Obtain an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA);

2. Removal of all payloads and third-party accessories is mandatory; IFT has no responsibility for any such items sent in;
3. Buyer must back up and remove data; and
4. Provide safe access to the product for service.

​IFT is not responsible for data loss, corruption, or exposure during service.
 

3. CROSS-REGIONAL SERVICE

Warranty service is available only in the service region where purchased, unless IFT approves cross-regional service in writing. IFT may deny cross‐regional service requests in its sole discretion. Buyer is responsible for all logistics, customs, duties, taxes, permits, and compliance related to any cross‐regional shipment or service.

4. SUPPORT GUIDANCE

Operational or troubleshooting guidance from support is informational only and does not modify the warranty. Support communications, including emails, chats, phone guidance, in-app messages, and service communications, are provided for informational purposes only and do not modify these Policies or create additional warranties unless IFT expressly amends these Policies in a written document signed by an authorized IFT officer.

PART III - RETURN, REFUND, AND REPLACEMENT PROGRAMS

1. GENERAL

 

Return, refund, replacement, and warranty repair requests may be made subject to these Policies and the applicable Sales Terms and Conditions. Buyers must submit a service request and obtain an RMA before returning any product.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in writing by IFT, all return and refund requests are subject to the return timing, restocking fee, and condition requirements stated in the applicable Sales Terms and Conditions.

 

2. RETURN & REFUND SERVICE

 

Except for batteries, a product may be returned for refund within fourteen (14) days of original
delivery, provided that:


1. The product is in as-new condition with no activated registrations or bound accounts, and with all software reset to factory settings;
2. The product passes IFT quality control evaluation; Inspired Flight Technologies - IFT Warranty - IF-60001

3. All original accessories and packaging are included; and
4. The buyer has obtained an RMA from IFT.


A ten percent (10%) restocking fee applies unless otherwise required by law or expressly
waived by IFT in writing.


 

3. FACTORY SEAL/CONDITION RESTRICTIONS

If the factory seal on the product has been broken, a return will not be accepted unless IFT gives specific written approval after evaluation. Evaluation for broken seal returns may incur inspection and restocking beyond 10% where permitted by law if accessories/packaging are missing or condition reflects abnormal wear.

Products returned with cracks, dents, unauthorized modifications, missing accessories, missing packaging, or other signs of misuse or abnormal wear may be rejected for refund or may be subject to additional deductions where permitted by law.

4. SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS FOR RETURNS

Buyer bears risk of loss and insurance responsibility for inbound shipments unless IFT provides a prepaid label and is the shipper of record; Buyer must package to commercial standards. IFT may assess evaluation/handling and return shipping charges for No Trouble Found or excluded claims.

If shipping batteries, Buyer must comply with applicable Dangerous Goods requirements and use certified shippers; damaged lithium batteries must not be shipped.

 

Buyers must deliver the returned product to IFT within ten (10) days after the RMA is issued.
Products not delivered within that period may be deemed ineligible for return credit.

5. REPLACEMENT SERVICE

IFT may, in its sole discretion, provide replacement service instead of refund where:


1. The product is determined by IFT to be nonconforming on timely inspection;
2. The product suffered verified transit damage supported by reasonable evidence; or
3. The product experiences a verified performance failure under normal recommended
operation shortly after delivery.


Replacements may be new, used, or refurbished at IFT’s discretion and are subject to
availability. IFT may require return and inspection of the original unit before shipping a
replacement.

6. CRU RETURN CLARIFICATION

A Certified Refurbished Unit (“CRU”) is sold as a package consisting of the Aircraft, paired GCS/controller, and protective case. Unless IFT publishes CRU-specific return terms in writing, CRU returns are governed by the same return timing, condition, and restocking rules stated above and in the applicable Sales Terms and Conditions.


Batteries are not part of the CRU sale and must be purchased separately as new products.
