AirMatrix is a Canadian company that seeks to make the skies safer by designing and implementing traffic control and precise pathways for urban drone delivery. With the collaboration and support of the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy, Hogan Pharmacy, PeopleCare, and Transport Canada, they were able to fulfill their mission. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has made quick, contactless delivery of medication more important than ever, and the use of drones will improve this effort.
