This is a remote/hybrid position. Our company is headquartered in San Luis Obispo, CA with a secondary location in Erie, CO.
Job Description:
You will be an integral part of the Customer Success Team. The goal is to provide customers who purchase and fly Inspired Flight Technologies UAVs with the support needed to be fully successful. The customer’s success will help build the company image and generate more sales. Our customer’s success is our success. Regular travel to Inspired Flight Headquarters in SLO or Co will be required, as well as travel to training and demos. This position reports to the Customer Success Manager and is a great opportunity to build out the role in this start-up environment.Â
Typical responsibilities:
- Monitor incoming calls, emails and support tickets
- Respond to questions from customers via phone, email, etc.
- Train customers in person at IFT or customer sites, or virtually, on the proper use of Inspired Flight vehicles, payloads, etc.
- Attend IFT customer demos with sales team
- Participate in video training content creation
You’ll excel in this role if you:
- Have a strong technical background in sUAV’s
- Experience preferably in the following industries: sUAV, aviation, aerospace, defense sector
- Can clearly articulate directions and procedures to all technical levels
- Can maintain professionalism in all scenarios and demonstrate customer service values
- Like problem solving and critical thinking
Education/Experience Requirements:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with heavy experience in Unmanned Aircraft Systems, or equivalent discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- UAV Training and Technical Support: 3 years (preferred)
- Part 107 license
